Some good news has arrived this morning over the holiday weekend the Black fish started to bite clams better in the Point Pleasant Canal ... There was a great bite going on for the past 8 days but it was on blood worms.... Customers had been catching their limits of tautog ... The New New Jersey Tautog regulations have not seemed to effect the canal fishermen this spring ...

The point pleasant canal is loaded with tautog. Rite now anglers are stopping by with great reports from the Point Pleasant Canal , The tog have been crunching on green crabs as well as slurping the jersey hookers clam .....
